Person County Tourism Development Authority (PCTDA)

Displayed on prominent interior wall of the Person County Tourism Development Authority Visitor Center, this barn quilt features a pineapple - the universally recognized symbol of welcome and hospitality.  Designed and painted by art students at the Roxboro Community School, the students were given creative freedom to create this  beautiful design.    

The barn quilt was originally installed at 29 Reams Avenue.  It was later refurbished and  repainted by Tammy Puryear before being relocated to the current Visitor Center location, where it now welcomes guests from its prominent place in the lobby.
