The center's better visibility ensures that it is easily accessible for those exploring the county. Positioned conveniently, it serves as a welcoming point for tourists and a resource hub for residents.
Resources for Exploration
The Visitor Center continues its tradition of providing valuable resources, offering brochures, maps, newspapers, magazines and more for free. These materials are meticulously curated to highlight the attractions, dining, and activities that Person County has to offer, ensuring visitors have all the information they need for a memorable experience. Don't worry- we kept the gift shop and still have wonderful local items for purchase!
Community Celebration
The relocation was celebrated with an enthusiastic community event. The Roxboro Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting and Business After Hours gathering on November 19, 2024, inviting everyone to explore the new space.
Delicious Refreshments
Attendees were treated to delicious refreshments catered by Bryan Day with Clarksville Station, adding a delightful culinary experience to the celebration. The community's taste buds were tantalized with a variety of flavors that complemented the joyous occasion. Adding to the festivities were wine tastings from Tunnel Creek Vineyards and Rock of Ages wines. These tastings offered a perfect opportunity for guests to savor local wines, further emphasizing the rich cultural and gastronomic offerings of the region.
