UPDATE AS OF 8/16/2025:
From Person Caswell Lake Authority:
"We are excited to announce Hyco Lake will be reopening with all water amenities allowed on Saturday August 16, 2025. Ramps will be opened at 8am. As they have always been, all water activities are at your own risk and PCLA assumes NO liability for any property or bodily damages.
The Park and Campground will resume all amenities as well. Day use area will be available for lawn activities, picnicking and grilling. Public swimming will remain unavailable.
We thank you for your patience as we have worked to clear flood debris, replace safety buoys, and conduct sonar surveys. Please stay clear of any barges and work crews as they are still working on final clean up and any unnecessary wakes could cause issues. Additional buoys are on the lake. Please be vigilant and aware while on the water."
